Desde hoy Jueves, 24 de enero al Domingo 27 de enero de 2013, se celebrarán en la Playa de Ponce el tradicional Carnaval de Vejigantes. Dedicado a todos los Carnavales de Puerto Rico y al Trinity Collage.

El premiado escritor húngaro Gyorgy Ferdinandy estará de visita en Puerto Rico para presentar su más reciente libro de relatos, “Emigrantes”, publicado en coedición por las editoriales Bluebird, de Miami, e Isla Negra, de San Juan. Las actividades serán el jueves 24 de enero de 2013:

For 8 days, from 19 to 28 February 2013, Haiti will live to the rhythm of jazz. 13 countries and 24 bands will take part this year in the 7th Edition of the International Jazz Festival of Port-au-Prince : Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Spain, the United States of America, France, Mexico, the Netherlands, Switzerland and of course Haiti and its diaspora, will be represented during this unmissable event for the amateurs and lovers of Jazz.
